Life

I recently got an allotment after some time on the waiting list. It's rather overgrown and I'm waiting for the guy who rents the other half of the plot to get back from holiday so I can gain access to start clearing it. However I also have a small garden. So today I went to the Garden centre and bought overwintering sets of red onions, garlic and elephant garlic as well as peas and broad beans suitable for an autumn planting. As much as possible next year I want to only eat my own veggies. :-)

Also can anyone recommend a decent sewing machine for a total novice? I want to teach myself to sew but for that I need a machine.

I've also started a new exercise regime as I'm trying to get fit.

Writing

I haven't written anything yet today. I must remedy that. I could do with getting quite a but done this weekend.

I know I've asked some of these questions before but I'm trying to collate the answers in one place in an easily digestible form so I can analyse them and come to strategical decisions about timing etc.
